Meet Olivia Tufo LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

My focus has always been providing therapy for those of us living in the "real world." Plenty of what we see and hear online about "fixing" relationships, "perfect" parenting, and a "balanced" career just doesn't seem to make a difference. Wouldn't it be nice if all it took to feel better was a trip to the spa or using the latest parenting theory you saw on social media? That just isn't how it works.

My hope for my clients is to be there when its not so simple. Sessions often include role playing conversations with a partner, validating your feelings and frustrations as you navigate life transitions such as applying to college, moving out on your own, deal with difficult family dynamics, navigate parenthood and marriage and much more.

I primarily use cognitive and interpersonal therapy during sessions but my true belief is that clients get the greatest benefit in therapy by having someone there to listen without judgement and allow them to explore what's going on in a comfortable and safe space.
